Exposition L'Âge d'or de la peinture danoise au Petit Palais

Le Petit Palais présente pour la première fois en France depuis près de trente-cinq ans, une exposition intitulée "L’Âge d’or de la peinture danoise" dédiée aux plus belles heures de la peinture danoise, de 1801 à 1864, visible du 22 septembre 2020 au 3 janvier 2021
Peintures précises et délicates, plus de 200 oeuvres d’artistes phares de cette période comme Christoffer Eckersberg, Christen Købke, Martinus Rørbye ou encore Constantin Hansen offrent une plongée dans le Danemark du XIXe siècle. Fruit des recherches récentes d’une équipe internationale, l’exposition entend porter un nouveau regard sur cette période, particulièrement remarquable en matière artistique.
L’exposition est organisée en collaboration avec le Statens Museum for Kunst (SMK) de Copenhague et le Nationalmuseum de Stockholm.

The Golden Age of Danish Painting exhibition at Petit Palais

For the first time in France for nearly 35 years, the Petit Palais is proud to present an exhibition entitled "The Golden Age of Danish Painting" dedicated to the finest hours of Danish painting, from 1801 to 1864, visible from September 22, 2020 to January 3, 2021.
Precise and refined, more than 200 works by the leading artists of the time, like Christoffer Eckersberg, Christen Købke, Martinus Rørbye and Constantin Hansen, offer an immersive view of Denmark in the 19th century. The fruit of recent research by an international team, the exhibition is designed to shed new light on a remarkable period of artistic output.
The exhibition was organised in collaboration with the Statens Museum for Kunst (SMK) in Copenhagen and the Nationalmuseum of Stockholm.
